Abstract: The title compound, C₁₉H₂₃NO₈S, an important asymmetric alkylating agent, contains a polyether linkage and two substituted benzene rings, which make a dihedral angle of 79.95 (7)°. In the crystal structure, there are C-HO hydrogen bonds.
