Abstract: In the title complex, [CuCl(C4H5N3)(C5H15N3)](ClO4, the CuII ion assumes a distorted square-pyramidal CuN4Cl coordination geometry. Extensive hydrogen bonding occurs, which helps to stabilize the crystal structure.
