Bis(1,10-phenanthroline-²N,N')(sulfato-²O,O')manganese(II) ethene-1,2-diol solvate

Abstract: In the title compound, [Mn(SO₄)(C₁₂H₈N₂)₂]·C₂H₆O₂, the Mn atom has a distorted octahedral coordination composed of four N atoms from two phenanthroline groups and two O atoms from a bidentate sulfate ligand. The formula unit lies on a special position of site symmetry 2. Intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds help to stabilize the structure.
