N-[5-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl]-3,5-dimethylbenzamide

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₈H₁₇N₃O₂S, was synthesized by reaction of [5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl]amine with 3,5-dimethylbenzoic acid. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N-HN hydrogen bonds link the molecules into centrosymmetric dimers.
