Abstract: In the centrosymmetric title complex, [Pt(C₂₅H₄₆P₂)₂](ClO₄)₂·4C₂H₄Cl₂, the Pt atom is four-coordinated by P atoms in a distorted square-planar coordination geometry and the bis(dicyclohexylphosphino)methane ligands form two planar four-membered chelate rings.
