Abstract: The title compound, (C₈H₂₀N)[Re₂(C₅H₄NO)(CH₃O)₂(CO)₆], was obtained from a ligand-substitution reaction of (Et₄N)[Re₂(OMe)₃(CO)₆] with 2-hydroxypyridine in methanol solvent. Both Re centers are in an approximate octahedral geometry.
