Abstract: In the title compound, C₂₀H₂₈O₇, the six-membered sugar ring adopts a distorted chair conformation. Intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into zigzag chains extending along the a axis. The crystal packing is further stabilized by weak intermolecular C-HO hydrogen bonds.
