Abstract: The title compound, {(C₆H₇N₂O)₂(H₃O)[NaMo₈O₂₆]·5H₂O}_n, features centrosymmetric oxomolybdate anions [Mo₈O₂₆]^4- (site symmetry $\\overline{1}$ ). These are linked by Na⁺ cations (site symmetry $\\overline{1}$ ), yielding chains which are connected by hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network.
