[4-(2-Hydroxybenzylamino)benzoato-O]triphenyltin(IV)

Abstract: In the title compound, [Sn(C₆H₅)₃(C₁₄H₁₂NO₃)], the coordination geometry around the Sn atom is slightly distorted tetrahedral, comprising three C atoms from three phenyl groups and one O atom from a 4-(2-hydroxybenzylamino)benzoate anion. The crystal packing involves inversion-generated pairs of molecules linked by two O-HO hydrogen bonds.
