Abstract: The title compound, [Cu₂Cl₂(C₁₅H₁₇N₃O₂)₂](ClO₄)₂·H₂O, contains dichloro-bridged Cu^II complexes located on centres of inversion. The solvent water molecule lies on a twofold rotation axis and forms hydrogen bonds to two perchlorate anions.
