-chloro-bis(1,10-phenanthroline)-4-terephthalato-dimanganese(II)]Abstract: In the structure of the title complex, [Mn2(C8H4O4)Cl2(C12H8N2)2], each MnII cation is surrounded by two O atoms from two terephthalate dianions, two bridging Cl atoms and two N atoms from a 1,10-phenanthroline molecule in a distorted octahedral geometry. Each terephthalate dianion functions as a 4-bridging ligand to form a zigzag chain. Neighbouring chains are held together by -chloro bridges, which create a three-dimensional architecture.
