Abstract: The crystal structure of the title complex, [Mn(C₉H₉NO₂)₂]·0.5H₂O, contains two Mn^IV units related by a twofold rotation axis and linked by intermolecular hydrogen bonds to a water molecule lying on this twofold axis.
