Abstract: The title compound, C13H18O3, crystallizes with three independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. In the crystal structure, two of the molecules form a hydrogen-bonded dimer, while the third forms a centrosymmetric hydrogen-bonded dimer with its symmetry-equivalent molecule. In each independent molecule, there is an intramolecular O-H...O hydrogen bond.
