3N,O,O']zinc(II) pyridine solvateAbstract: The ZnII atom in the title complex, [Zn(C11H13N2O6)2]·C5H5N, is chelated by a terdentate Schiff base ligand in a slightly distorted octahedral geometry. One of the coordinated hydroxyl groups forms a hydrogen bond with the pyridine solvent molecule. In the crystal structure, other hydroxyl groups are engaged in intermolecular hydrogen bonding, forming a two-dimensional layer.
