Abstract: The manganese complex of the title compound, [Mn(C₄H₆N₂)₆]Br₂·2H₂O, is located on a crystallographic inversion centre. The anions and solvent molecules form a hydrogen-bonded cluster of formulation Br₂(H₂O)₂ with graph set R²₄(8).
