Abstract: The centrosymmetric title compound, [Cu₂(C₁₂H₉O₂)₄(C₃H₇NO)₂]·2C₃H₇NO, consists of a dinuclear copper paddle-wheel cage structure bridged by four bidentate naphthaleneacetate carboxylate groups. The N,N-dimethylformamide molecules at the axial positions complete the octahedral coordination.
