3N,N',O}copper(II)Abstract: The title compound, [Cu(C13H17BrClN2O)(N3)], is isostructural with the nickel(II) complex reported by Tang [(2006), Acta Cryst. E62, m2629-m2630]. The Cu atom in the complex is coordinated by one O and two N atoms of the Schiff base ligand and by one N atom of the azide ligand in a slightly distorted square-planar configuration. The molecules are linked by intermolecular C-H
N hydrogen bonds, forming chains running along the c axis.
