5N3,N6,N9,N12,N26]bis[diaquamanganese(II)] dichloride hexahydrateAbstract: The title centrosymmetric dinuclear complex, [Mn2(C20H30N12)(H2O)4]Cl2·6H2O, consists of a dimanganese(II) macrocyclic complex in which the MnII centres are linked by two triazolate units of the macrocyclic framework. In the complex, the MnII cation is coordinated by five N atoms from the macrocycle and two O atoms from the coordinated water molecules. The MnII centre is in an approximately pentagonal-bipyramidal environment. Adjacent ions and water molecules are linked to form a one-dimensional chain via O-H
O and O-H
N hydrogen bonds.
