trans-Bis(5,5-diphenylhydantoinato-N³)bis(furfurylamine-N)copper(II) 5,5-diphenylhydantoin disolvate

Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(C₁₅H₁₁N₂O₂)₂(C₅H₇NO)₂](C₁₅H₁₂N₂O₂)₂, the Cu^II ion, lying on an inversion centre, is coordinated in a square-planar coordination geometry; two other 5,5-diphenylhydantoin molecules are uncoordinated. The crystal structure includes intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds, forming a two-dimensional network.
