Abstract: The title compound, [Zn(C₆H₁₅N₃)₂](ClO₄)₂, is a mononuclear Zn^II complex of the restricted facial chelating ligand 6-amino-6-methylperhydro-1,4-diazepine (AAZ). The complex shows C_2h point symmetry, with two AAZ ligands bound to the hexacoordinated metal centre.
