Abstract: Buflomedil hydrochloride {systematic name 1-[4-oxo-4-(2,4,6-trimethoxyphenyl)but-1-yl]pyrrolidinium hydrochloride}, C17H26NO4+·Cl-, is a rheological agent largely used as a vasodilator drug. The N atom of the pyrrolidine ring is protonated and is involved in a hydrogen bond with the Cl- anion. In the crystal packing, C-H
O interactions form a hydrogen-bonded network.
