3'-Nitro-4'-phenylspiro[1H-indole-3,2'-pyrrolidin]-2-one

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₈H₁₇N₃O₃, the pyrrolidine ring adopts an envelope conformation. The indolone ring system is oriented with a dihedral angle of 32.8 (1)° with respect to the phenyl ring. The molecular packing is stabilized by N-HO hydrogen bonds and C-HO interactions, in addition to van der Waals forces.
