Abstract: In the title mononuclear zinc(II) complex, [ZnBr2(C12H17BrN2O)], the ZnII atom is four-coordinated by the imine N and phenolate O atoms of the Schiff base ligand, and by two Br atoms, forming a tetrahedral geometry. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked through intermolecular N-H
O hydrogen bonds and weak Br
Br interactions, forming a three-dimensional network.
