(5Z)-5-Benzylideneimidazolidine-2,4-dione

Abstract: In the title molecule, C₁₀H₈N₂O₂, all bond lengths and angles show normal values. The dihedral angle between the mean planes of the imidazolidine-2,4-dione fragment and the benzene ring is 24.97 (2)°. Intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into zigzag chains running in the [110] direction.
