-pyridine-4-carboxylato-
2N,O] dihydrate]Abstract: In the title compound, {[ZnCl2(C6H4NO2)]2[Zn(H2O)6]·2H2O}n, one Zn atom is involved in the formation of one-dimensional infinite zigzag anionic chains, whereas the second Zn atom, located on a twofold axis, is surrounded by six water molecules as a hexaaqua cation. The occurrence of O-H
O and O-H
Cl hydrogen bonds results in a supramolecular three-dimensional network.
