Abstract: In the title monomeric compound, [Zn(C₅H₂N₂O₄)(H₂O)₄], the Zn^II atom has a distorted octahedral environment and the molecules are linked by O-HO and N-HO hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional supramolecular structure.
