Abstract: The title compound, C₁₇H₁₂N₄O₄·2CH₄O, crystallizes with the main molecule lying on a twofold axis (through the methylene bridge C atom) and two methanol solvent molecules in general positions. Intermolecular O-HO and C-HO interactions are present, with the methanol molecules acting as O-H hydrogen-bond donors and acceptors.
