Diaquabis(4-formylbenzoato-O)copper(II) dihydrate

Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(C₈H₅O₃)₂(H₂O)₂]·2H₂O, the Cu atom (site symmetry $\\overline{1}$ ) is coordinated by two carboxylate O atoms and two water molecules in a square planar geometry. O-HO hydrogen bonds link adjacent complex molecules via the uncoordinated water molecules into a three-dimensional network architecture.
