Bis{2,4-dichloro-6-[2-(isopropylamino)ethyliminomethyl]phenolato}cobalt(III) perchlorate monohydrate

Abstract: The title compound, [Co(C₁₂H₁₅Cl₂N₂O)₂]ClO₄·H₂O, consists of a mononuclear cobalt(III) complex cation, a perchlorate anion and an uncoordinated water molecule. The Co atom in the cation is six-coordinated in a cis-CoO₂N₄ octahedral geometry by two N,N,O-tridentate 2,4-dichloro-6-[2-(isopropylamino)ethyliminomethyl]phenol Schiff base ligands.
