Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-4-yl) decanedioate

Q. Zhou, W.-Y. Wu, X.-S. Gao, C. Yao and J.-T. Wang

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C28H52N2O4, contains one half-molecule; the molecule is located on a centre of inversion. The piperidine ring has a distorted chair conformation. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N-H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules, forming a network, which may be effective in the stabilization of the crystal structure.
