Tetra--acetamidato-⁴N:O;⁴O:N-bis[aquaruthenium(II,III)](Ru-Ru) nitrate

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title mixed-valence complex, [Ru₂(C₂H₄NO)₄(H₂O)₂]NO₃, comprises two half-cations, with Ru-Ru bond distances of 2.2829 (5) and 2.2797 (5) Å, and a nitrate anion. Each cation is centrosymmetric. The diruthenium cations form a two-dimensional hydrogen-bonding network via N-HO and O-HO hydrogen bonds.
