Abstract: In the solid state, the title molecule, C13H10BrNO2, exhibits two intramolecular hydrogen bonds, namely an O-H...O hydrogen bond between vicinal hydroxy groups and an N-H...O hydrogen bond involving hydroxy and imine groups. In the crystal structure, symmetry-related molecules are linked by bifurcated O-H...O hydrogen bonds to form centrosymmetric hydrogen-bonded dimers.
