Abstract: The cation of the title compound, C₁₉H₁₈FeO₂P⁺·BF₄^- or [Fe(C₅H₅)(C₁₂H₁₃P)(CO)₂]BF₄, features a typical half-sandwich-type structure with four ligands roughly giving a tetrahedral coordination of the Fe ion.
