Tris(propane-1,3-diammonium) decavanadate 5.5-hydrate

C.-Y. Zhu, Y.-T. Li, Z.-Y. Wu and M. Jiang

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C3N2H12)3[V10O28]·5.5H2O, contains half each of two decavanadate ions, which lie on crystallographic inversion centres, two whole and two halves of doubly protonated propane-1,3-diammonium ions, and five and a half uncoordinated water molecules. The crystal structure of this compound shows an interesting three-dimensional supramolecular structure of hydrogen bonds.
