Abstract: In the title samarium coordination polymer, [Sm(C₁₄H₈O₄)(C₁₄H₉O₄)(H₂O)₂]_n, the Sm cation is located on a twofold axis and coordinated in an irregular SmO₈ polyhedron, which is linked by the carboxylate groups to form a three-dimensional framework.
