Abstract: In the title compound, C₂₇H₂₈NO₉⁺·Cl^-, the tris[2-(4-hydroxybenzoyloxy)ethyl]ammonium cation adopts a tripodal conformation with a trifurcated intramolecular N-HO hydrogen bond. The cations are connected via O-HCl hydrogen bonds, forming one-dimensional zigzag chains which are further assembled into a three-dimensional network by weak C-HO/Cl interactions.
