N4)zinc(II)Abstract: In the title compound, [ZnCl2(C12H11Cl2N3O2)2], the Zn atom lies on a twofold rotation axis and adopts a slightly deformed tetrahedral coordination with two Cl ions and two N atoms from monodentate 1-{[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,3-dioxolan-2-yl]methyl}-1H-1,2,4-triazole ligands. Complex molecules are linked via weak C-H
O/Cl interactions, forming ribbons along the b axis in the crystal structure.
