catena-Poly[[(1,10-phenanthroline-²N,N')zinc(II)]--3,5-dinitrosalicylato-³O,O':O'']

Abstract: In the title coordination polymer, [Zn(C₇H₂N₂O₇)(C₁₂H₈N₂)]_n, the Zn^II atom has a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal coordination geometry, defined by two N atoms from one phenanthroline ligand and three O atoms from two different 3,5-dinitrosalicylate ligands. The crystal packing is governed by weak intra- and intermolecular C-HO hydrogen bonds.
