4-Amino-6-(4-chlorobenzyl)-3-thioxo-2,3-dihydro-1,2,4-triazin-5(4H)-one

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₀H₉ClN₄OS, the triazine ring makes a dihedral angle of 83.03 (2)° with the benzene ring. The compound possesses two intramolecular N-HS and N-HO hydrogen bonds forming five-membered rings. In the crystal structure the molecules are linked by intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds into chains forming rectangular channels parallel to the a axis, held together by van der Waals interactions.
