Abstract: The title compound, [CuCl₂(C₁₃H₁₉ClN₂O)], is a mononuclear copper(II) complex. The Cu^II ion is four-coordinated by the phenolate O and the imine N atoms of the Schiff base ligand, and by two Cl atoms, forming a distorted tetrahedral geometry.
