1,4-Bis(4-methoxyphenyl)buta-1,3-diyne

Abstract: In the structure of the title compound, C₁₈H₁₄O₂, the two benzene rings are inclined at an angle of 54.25 (13)°. The packing of the molecules is mainly governed by weak intermolecular C-HO hydrogen bonds with no - stacking observed.
