3-Acetamidoadamantane-1-carboxylic acid

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₃H₁₉NO₃, crystallizes with two molecules, A and B, in the asymmetric unit. Intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds link symmetry-related molecules into infinite chains parallel to the [101] direction, with short OO distances of 2.534 (2) and 2.618 (2) Å in the chains of A and B molecules, respectively. Intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds cross-link these two chains.
