Aqua[bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine][chelidonato(1.5-)]copper(II) chelidonate(0.5-) monohydrate

M. Fainerman-Melnikova, J. K. Clegg and R. Codd

Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(C7H2.5O6)(C12H13N3)(H2O)](C7H3.5O6)·H2O, chelidonic acid coordinates to a [CuII(dpa)(H2O)]2+ core [dpa = bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine] unit via a deprotonated carboxylic acid group. There is a three-dimensional hydrogen-bonding and [pi]-[pi] interaction network present in the structure.
