Aqua[bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine][chelidonato(1.5-)]copper(II) chelidonate(0.5-) monohydrate

Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(C₇H_2.5O₆)(C₁₂H₁₃N₃)(H₂O)](C₇H_3.5O₆)·H₂O, chelidonic acid coordinates to a [Cu^II(dpa)(H₂O)]²⁺ core [dpa = bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine] unit via a deprotonated carboxylic acid group. There is a three-dimensional hydrogen-bonding and - interaction network present in the structure.
