Abstract: In the title complex, [RuClH(C₁₄H₂₀N₂O)(C₄₄H₃₂P₂)]·C₆H₆, the Ru^II ion is in a slightly distorted coordination environment. One of the amino H atoms is involved in a weak intramolecular N-HCl interaction (HCl = 2.71 Å), while the other is involved in an intramolecular N-H [pi] (arene) interaction (NHCg = 2.62 Å, where Cg is the centroid of a benzene ring).
