Abstract: The title compound, [PtCl₂(C₃₄H₃₁NP₂)], crystallizes with four crystallographically independent molecules. All four molecules have the same R chirality, with P-Pt-P bite angles ranging from 72.14 (5) to 72.38 (5)°.
