Abstract: The Cu atom in the title compound, [Cu(C₃H₅NO₅S)(C₁₀H₈N₂)(H₂O)]·2H₂O, exists in a square-pyramidal environment. The two independent mononuclear complex molecules and the four uncoordinated water molecules in the asymmetric unit are engaged in extensive hydrogen-bonding interactions, forming a three-dimensional network.
