Abstract: The structure of the title compound, [Sn(C₆H₅)₃(C₁₄H₉O₃)], consists of monomeric species featuring a distorted tetrahedral environment around the Sn centre. The tetrahedral angles are non-equivalent, owing to the relatively close approach of a carboxylate O atom.
