catena-Poly[[bis(N,N-dimethylformamide)manganese(II)]-di-₂-oxalato]

Abstract: The title complex, [Mn(C₂O₄)(C₃H₇NO)₂]_n, forms extended one-dimensional chains with oxalate dianions bridging Mn^II atoms in a bis-bidentate mode. The unique Mn^II atom lies on a crystallographic twofold axis and is in a distorted octahedral coordination environment. There is a single weak intramolecular C-HO hydrogen-bond interaction [HO = 2.38 Å].
