Carbonyl(diethyldithiocarbamato)(⁵-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl)iridium(III) trifluoromethanesulfonate

Abstract: Cations of the title compound, [Ir(C₁₀H₁₅)(C₅H₁₀NS₂)(CO)](CF₃O₃S), contain half-sandwich (⁵-C₅Me₅)Ir^III fragments. The remaining positions in the octahedral Ir^III coordination environment are occupied by the S atoms of the bidentate diethyldithiocarbamate ligand and the C atom of the carbonyl ligand.
