Abstract: In the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C₁₆H₁₄N₄O, there are two crystallographically independent molecules, which are connected to each other by O-HN hydrogen bonds, forming a molecular chain. The neighboring chains are linked into a layer through - stacking interactions.
